Kevin Martin spent his childhood years growing up in his hometown of Shoe Cove, one of the most scenic communities of Newfoundland. He is the middle child of a remarkable family of four brothers and three sisters. Historically, the Martin family ancestors came from England and Ireland and settled in rural Newfoundland in the late 1600’s.
Following high school, Kevin moved to St John’s to attend Memorial University of Newfoundland studying Chemistry and Biology. After Kevin’s four years university, his keen interest in new business opportunities sparked a calling within him. Eventually as a young adult and with a friend, together they created an enterprise of shipping goods throughout Atlantic Canada. As co-owner and vice-president of the company, Kevin, along with his partner eventually setup several other enterprises.
In 1994, Kevin, a strong-willed and ambitious individual, always ready to embark on new adventures moved to Los Angeles selling products for a major US distributor.
Subsequently, after spending time exploring California, Kevin returned to Newfoundland and decided to make a change in his professional life. With much aptitude and ability, he focused his efforts in the Real Estate Industry. He found his forte. Twenty (20) years later, his achievements include numerous awards for his knowledge and client loyalty, as well to this list of accomplishments the very prestigious RE/MAX International Hall of Fame Award.
Kevin just recently completed the Meadow Heights Project where he represented one of the largest residential subdivisions in Paradise: Meadow Heights. In partnership with JRBR Holding Ltd and with Greg Adams, owner of Kara Investments Ltd, a top residential builder in the metro area for over 20 years, they worked simultaneously designing this neighbourhood filled with beautiful homes for families. They put their knowledge and creative minds in motion in bringing alive a vision of "what a new concept of family homes within a neighbourhood should feel like" in this era of time.
Kevin attributes his success in his personal life as well as in his business life to his unwavering loyalty and honesty to all people whom he has encountered throughout his life. His underlying belief is; "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." His motto is to be happy and make someone smile and laugh every day.
Every year Kevin donates to various charities and currently sponsors two beautiful children from Africa through World Vision in which he is very proud to include in his list of achievements.
